Community  Ministries    d

THANK YOU to the UBC Furnishings Ministry for delivering furniture to families in May to help them begin new life in a new home. Here are some places that UBC is involved in community service that your group could join in.   Bible  study  for  women  and  children  in  local  shelter   New team members are needed for the ministry teams that visit the local shelter every other week to share God’s love with women and their children that have survived domestic violence or sexual assault.     Bible  study  for  elderly  in  assisted  living     Do you have experience with Bible study teaching and a heart for the elderly? The Emeritus Assisted Living Facility (formerly Rosemont on Clear Lake City Boulevard) has asked if UBC has any members willing to lead a weekday Bible study for their residents. Keeping  in  Touch  Keeping  in  Touch  and  Driving  With  Care   Are you available to visit the homebound or to drive patients to appointments? Both these ministries are in need of additional drivers, especially drivers willing to go beyond the Bay Area.

Is your group making a difference?
