Data cables supplied with unit 9see overleaf for details)

Description The DLTS monitors messages transmitted over the data links between SSI interlockings. Any interlocking address or Trackside Functional Module (TFM) address can be selected and the data bits for that address displayed on the DLTS. A trigger can also be generated to enable selected messages to be displayed on an oscilloscope. Input and output messages are decoded allowing the data and status bits to be analysed. Decoded data is displayed on a set of eight LEDs and status on a second set of eight LEDs. Where an interlocking or TFM message is invalid, or the equipment has been disconnected no display is given. Either 240 V or 110 V ac power can be connected to the unit.

Operation The DLTS requires no complex initialisation. 1. Connect supplied data cable between Data Link Module (DLM) and DLTS, observing polarity. 2. Select power source and connect cable if required. 3. Press ‘RESET’ button. 4. Select address of required message. 5. Select data direction. 6. Connect to oscilloscope if required using supplied cable. An operating manual is supplied with each unit and this should be studied before connecting or operating the Data Link Test Set.

Data connection cables The following data cables are provided:

Data Input Cable: 2m Co-Axial 75 Ω impedance for connection to current loop.

Oscilloscope Cable: 2m Co-Axial 75 Ω impedance for connection to oscilloscope.

Rx Version Part No: E19020/1 PADS No: (086/047009)
