Dear Member, LIVESCOT- BELTEX IN-LAMB SHOW AND SALE (on behalf of Beltex Scotland) We write to you regarding the above event which is to take place on Saturday 25th November, 2017 within Lanark Agricultural Centre. The show and sale will be open to all members of Beltex Scotland. Timings of the Event – The Show will be held on the morning of the Sale (Time – TBC), therefore we ask that all sheep are penned no later than 8.30am (Sheep may be delivered the night before). The Inspection will take place between 8.00am and 9.00am on Sale morning. The Sale will take place at approx. 11.30am. No exceptions will be made regarding late arrivals. Due to the format of Livescot, the entries per exhibitor are restricted to 3 ewes, 6 gimmers and 3 ewe lambs per vendor. Our judge this year is Mr Alan Munro, of the Loandhu Flock and classes will be as follows: Class 1 - Aged Ewe; Class 2 - Gimmer; Class 3 - Ewe Lamb; Overall Champion and Reserve Champion. Entries to this sale should be returned to Lanark Agricultural Centre, Lanark, ML11 9AX - no later than Friday 27th October, 2017. An entry fee of £12 (Inc. VAT) per head should accompany entry forms and pedigree certificates (Cheques are payable to Lawrie & Symington Ltd). We remind Vendors that to sell at this sale, they must be a fully paid member of Beltex Scotland (Cheques payable to Beltex Scotland at a fee of £20.00). Also, sheep entered for sale, should be fully registered with the Beltex Sheep Society. We do hope you will favour us with your entries and build this into the favoured in-lamb sale.
