May 8, 2015 INVITATION TO BID Message Center Signs Sealed bids are being secured toward purchase of message center signs for eight (8) schools with professional installation, in addition, replace school logo panels on five (5) of these eight by the Washington County Department of Education, as further detailed below. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., May 27, 2015, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above Central Office address. Bidders/Representatives are invited to attend opening. Any bid received later will be returned to sending bidder unopened. The Washington County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award on what is determined as best dollar value for intended educational use that may not be that of low bid. The decision reached and any action taken by the Board will remain conclusive. The successful bidder, if any, will be notified by issue of a WCBE purchase order following Board action of award. Payment will be made in full within fifteen (15) days of installation, our inspection and receipt of invoice. WCDE is tax exempt and form can be provided. Bid Quotation must be full and complete for all sign components, incidentals although not specified, shipping, delivery, professional installation and warranty on product and workmanship. A sketch/drawing of proposed sign should also accompany bid quotation. All complete bids will receive consideration toward award. No brand, model or sign company is favored or intended as the specifications, details of description and any referenced herein are given solely to express the standard of quality being sought. Please quote a sign of your dealership and give full detail of any exceptions to specifications in the space provided. Should any questions pertinent to these specifications arise, you may call Mr. Phillip Patrick, Maintenance Director, Washington County TN Schools at (423) 753-1172/1100. However, any change in specifications will be made by addendum directed to all prospective bidders. Please return Bid Quotation Sheet and drawing of proposed sign in the enclosed envelope, for bid identity, by mail or bring so to arrive no later than above given date and time of scheduled public opening.
