December 2017 Lions Newsletter Dear Parents, We would like to welcome you all back from the Thanksgiving Holidays. We hope you had a blessed and enjoyable time with family and friends. As 2018 comes to an end, we look back at all the fun and awesome adventures we had this year. We had lots of exciting activities throughout the school year. We look forward to many more fun activities in 2019. Scrip orders will be due on December 3rd. This is an awesome fundraiser! When you purchase a gift card, a percentage of the proceeds go towards our school. They are great for gifts, or if you purchase a card for an establishment you normally shop at, you can use the card to shop and help our school. In December, we will celebrate the wondrous story of our Savior’s birth. The children will begin their exposure to the birth of our Savior with the Advent season and learning what the Advent candles mean. We will explore the festivities and excitement of the Christmas season. The children will hear about Baby Jesus, His birthday, and why we celebrate this special time of the year. Day One will be closed on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December for the Christmas Holidays and on December 31st and January 1st for the New Year. Day One is open for full time children only on the 27th – 29th of December and 2nd- 4th of January. Please check our door for a signup sheet to let us know who will be attending. Our prayer is that everyone has a blessed, safe and very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
