1. Father is bringing us this year to know who we are in Him - full identity as the sons of God • 5778 a. 5 – revelation, breath, and grace, b. 7 – sword, (double edged) 70 – coming out of captivity c. 8 – new beginning • Moving past our past, fuller dimension of healing, deliverance, understanding 2. A year to step into a new place of knowing our authority

• I am the vine you are the branches – John 15:5 • Branches are for scepters for them that bare rule – Ezek. 19:11

3. A year to grow up into full maturity in Him

• Maturity is what happens in Harvest time – speaks of harvest of a crop coming to full maturity…WE are coming to full maturity!

• Jesus gave 5 gifts to the Church to mature us in how we live and think as His body – as those who labor with Him – Eph. 4:11, 14-15



• He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers for the perfecting (complete furnishing, equipping) of the saints (holy ones), for the work (labor) of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come to the unity of faith and of the [intimate, precise] knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man (aner: male, husband, betrothed / future husband), unto the measure (metron) of the stature (maturity) of the fullness (the abundance, fulfilling, completeness, as a ship filled with 1

sailors/soldiers, as the body of believers filled with power, presence, agency, and riches of God in Christ) of Christ (the Anointed One). That we should no longer be children tossed to and fro, carried around by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness (false wisdom) of deceitful plotting, (whereby they lie in wait to deceive to pull you into error), but speaking the truth in love, may grow up (increase, mature, come into full stature) in all things into Him who is the Head – Christ – from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love– Eph. 4:1116

• Maturity is thinking like He thinks: Apostolically, prophetically, evangelistically, pastorally, teaching priests

• Jesus is looking for those who will labor with Him in the harvest field where crops are ready to be brought in. 4. Snakes in the Field • Fields have all kinds of things in them, one of them is snakes which is what I want to touch on this morning because it is what I felt the Lord wanted me to share. In fact I’ve had encounters and dreams this week that have made me very aware that our Father is dealing with the python spirit that has held His people, and nations in captivity.

• One of those dreams: I had a dream that was laced with witchcraft that manifested in 8 ways: Distortion, disorder, Disobedience, Disrespect, Degrading, Divination, Disempowerment, Division as a result of ignorance and neglect on the part of those (parents) who were in a place of authority to do something about it. Its target was the family unit.

God is dealing with the Spirit of Python! • At the beginning of this year He began to take me to a new dimension of intercession for the nations and as I was praying He took me to Nahum 3:4 – God declared His anger against Nineveh for her cruelty and pride describing the spirit by which the Assyrians operated as selling (trafficking) nation through harlotries (idolatry) and families (bloodlines) through witchcraft (divination, spirit of python) • As I was praying, I saw in my spirit an angel flying across the sky over the earth. I continued to pray. Then came an email – prophetic word about Rev. 14: - Then I saw another angel flying through the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth – to every nation, tribe, tongue and people saying with a loud voice – “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water. And another angel followed saying Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Babylon – the dwelling place of every foul spirit. • Then I received another email from a different ministry with the same scripture and I knew something was up.

• If He is dealing with the snake – the python spirit – We must too in the way He shows us

Law of first mention: • The first place in scripture we see the snake is in the garden of Eden where the snake approached the bride of the First Adam…and we know how that went. • But we are not the bride of the first Adam, but the Last Adam. We are not only sons of God, but as Paul taught, our corporate identity to Christ is described in the metaphor as the bride to Him • For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great

mystery but I speak concerning Christ and the church (ekklesia). – Eph. 5:30-32 • Understanding Our identity as a bride to the Son is an important aspect of who we are as the body of Christ who labor with Him – And just like the snake approached the bride of the first Adam, he tries to approach us. 7. THE truth about the bride:

• WHEN God fashioned the first bride, He said, “I will make the man a suitable helper.”

a. to tend and guard territory for the purposes of the Father b. Suitable (neged) – is a face-to-face counterpart, one who corresponds to you - “As He is, so are we.” – 1 Jn. 4:17 c. Helper: Ezer: Ayin, Zayin, Resh – Perception, Weapon, Head/preeminent 8. Four things about a serpent: • Uses its tongue to assess its environment for predator and prey • In the Garden of Eden, he used his tongue to accuse, slanders, and makes false judgments • He speaks to see if we will buy into his lies • Power of his words / presence wrap themselves around us to crush the breath out of your joy, peace, finances, health, well-being, dreams, relationships • Acts 16 • Strongholds 9. THE PROMISE: “I will but enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.” – Gen. 3:15

• We are the body / bride of the serpent-head Crusher. Jesus crushed the snake’s head on the cross, but we must also enforce that victory that He won through discernment and action! We must identify and put under our feet his works

• To crush his head is to break the power and authority of his words and not buy into his words – don’t become his prey

• To crush his head means to destroy speculations, and thoughts and words that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God’s truth and love. – Eph. 6:12; 2 Cor. 10:4-5

• It is a year for our mind and our mouth to be in agreement with God’s Word and Christ’s mind!

• John: If you Abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. • Josh 1: Let the Word of God be in your mouth and in your mind day and night – then you will make your way prosperous





• Praise on your lips! SING!!!! Ps. 149:5-6 – Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand. 5778 • We are reclaiming our identity as a people who keen insight and vision, one who is designed for war, one who is increasing in stature, growing up into our Head, thinking and moving as He does, not being trafficked by the enemy. As He is, so are we • We are reclaiming our understanding of who we are and that we are here to tend and guard territory with the Last Adam and all that belongs to Him as the King of Heaven and Earth, the Ruler of the Nations, the Last Adam who is a quickening Spirit and serpent-head Crusher

• “Its time to put the python under our feet and crush his head!”

Breaking free of the python spirit • Stop and think about what you are thinking about: Take that thought captive! Bring it to the foot of the cross. Stand – repeat after me: • I break agreement with every false judgment I have made against myself, against God, or against any person that I had held in low esteem, especially those who have hurt me. I repent for my agreement with the python spirit. I break its hold on me and I loose the spirit of liberty and love.

• I repent for every word curse or false judgment I have made against any person, ministry, or authority, including against myself. I break the assignment of those words and call them null and void. I release now the spirit of truth in love. I breathe freely the breath of God.

• I choose now to unite with the body to receive the supply of God in others and to give the supply of God through me, and to grow up into the love of God. I choose to love God with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind, and all my strength and my neighbor as myself. The python can no longer deceive me, distract me, or derail me, from my God-given assignment and destiny with Christ – with whom I am bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh to advance Father’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Pray for one another for fresh vision, fresh ability to war and put the serpent under your feet – be who you are! The End!
