Denver Seminary Library - E-book Policy The Denver Seminary Library’s E-book collection includes a limited, but growing number of electronic books that can be checked out for use on computers or portable devices. On some devices, the patron may first need to download software or applications to allow a computer or device to process the files correctly. All E-books may be accessed through links in our online catalog or directly through current vendor links. Both vendor platforms, Overdrive and EBSCO, provide E-books from the Library's collection that can be viewed on a computer or transferred to a Kindle, NOOK, Sony Reader, iPad or other portable devices. There are never overdue books or late fees. Titles automatically return to the Library's collection after 7 days or some may be returned early. Holds may be placed on Ebooks currently checked-out. Although E-books cannot be renewed, they are again available for checkout if there are no holds on them. Currently, Overdrive E-books are only available to Denver Seminary Students with a current library account. EBSCO E-books may be checked out to any patron with a current library account. For more details on procedures and policies for E-books, see the E-book Comparison Chart.
