Digital Marketing Manager- Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN) Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN) supports two life-changing programs that empower students to break the cycle of poverty through education: The Young Women’s Leadership Schools, a network of high-performing all-girls public secondary schools, and CollegeBound Initiative, a school-based college access program for young women and men. Reporting to the Managing Director of Communications and Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the organization’s social media strategy and populating YWLN’s website with high quality content and web assets. In essence, the Digital Marketing Manager will be the internal “go to” person who will create and manage a content pipeline for web, social media and eblast stories. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying the newest trends in social media and generating bold and innovative digital ideas that strengthen YWLN’s brand and position the organization as a thought leader in the girls’ education, college counseling and education spheres. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high impact online social media and web campaigns that strengthen the existing base of followers and drive new followers. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who is passionate about social media and digital communications. S/he is creative and has a track record on how to capitalize on digital trends and optimize new technology platforms. S/h will have experience in content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Dream Weaver and existing and emerging social media platforms. Primary roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborating with internal teams to produce a first-rate social media/community content library that enhances and grows our web storytelling platform. Overseeing day-to-day social media and community activities. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social media metrics. Conceiving and implementing strategies to increase followers. Working cross-functionally with the Development Department, as needed, to implement digital fundraising and volunteer campaigns through our social media channels and e-blast platforms. Creating and managing an editorial calendar that syncs strategically with the Development Department. Leading and assisting in design of Constant Contact e-blasts. Assisting with the management of brand standards.

Working with the program staff and the Managing Director of Communications on the creation, writing and production of printed and electronic materials, including but not limited to: e-blasts, invitations, postcards and collateral for special events. Managing outside vendors such as photographers and printers. Key Qualifications A bachelor’s degree or higher A minimum of four years of communications experience, specifically developing and managing social media campaigns and managing and developing web content Experience in updating websites through content management systems Knowledge of Social Flow, Hoot Suite, Tweet Deck, and other social media delivery platforms Knowledge of Google Analytics and Chartbeat Creative thinker with ability to develop and implement new ideas both independently and as a team member Ability to work confidently under deadline while paying close attention to detail Excellent writing skills in both social media language and longer form writing, such as strategy recommendations Excellent oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong leadership skills and a track record of project management that demonstrates an ability to lead and troubleshoot Familiarity with design, video and photography software and editing tools Passionate about YWLN’s mission, committed to teamwork, and achieving results Compensation: Competitive/commensurate with experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K matching Application Instructions: Please submit cover letter and resume to [email protected] and mention where you saw this ad.
