Director, Marketing & Admissions Griffith College Full time, Permanent, Brisbane Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media education, workforce education and student recruitment.

Navitas, or PIBT as it was then, was founded in 1994 with the goal of helping more international students succeed at university in Australia via improved student support and an extended academic year. Griffith College is a higher education institution within the University Pathway Division of Navitas Limited. Griffith College works in association with Griffith University, based on its Mount Gravatt campus, and its Gold Coast campus. The College has been offering pathway programs to domestic and international students for nineteen years across a broad range of disciplines. Eligible graduates progress to the University to complete undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The Director, Marketing & Admissions leads the strategic direction, management and growth of marketing and student recruitment and admissions activities. This includes the development of business relationships and opportunities domestically & internationally and implementing admission & recruitment strategies to achieve agreed targets. Essential Skills & Experience  Tertiary qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level and in a marketing related discipline.  Successful track record of sales and a network of contacts in international and domestic higher education markets.  Demonstrated experience in the development and management of strategic / operational planning and budgets to achieve successful, cost-effective outcomes.  Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to create value, develop and deliver executive recommendations and strategies including high quality presentations and documents.  Proven ability to apply commercial rigour and business acumen to decision-making.  Strong track record in executing conversion and retention strategies through a CRM and lead management automation tool.  Demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders.  Demonstrated sales skills and appropriate knowledge of the business environment and applications for the company’s products and services.  Ability to work in a team both as leader and member to inspire team members to explore and engage in all avenues of marketing and student recruitment.  Analytical mind with good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Desirable Skills & Experience  Experience working in the private education sector.  Knowledge and experience of marketing, including promotion, advertising, digital marketing, branding, building media presence and public relations would be well regarded.  Successful work experience in a multi-cultural environment.  Ability to speak a foreign language. Director Marketing and Admissions

Reports to:

General Manager, Marketing & Recruitment

1. Overview and Objectives of the Position: The Marketing and Admissions Director leads the strategic direction, management and growth of marketing and student recruitment and admissions activities. This includes the development of business relationships and opportunities domestically & internationally and implementing admission & recruitment strategies to achieve agreed targets.

2. Key Result Areas: Marketing: 

Drive and develop sales and marketing strategy and campaigns, digital and otherwise, to strategically distinguish Navitas from competitors and deliver growth.



Strategically liaise with, develop and maintain effective relationships with university partners, the Navitas Group, agents and other external clients.



Develop and define key market segments in order to drive new business development initiatives.



Collaborate with the College Director to ensure effective overall management of the Navitas College.



Closely monitor, evaluate and report on campaign effectiveness and work closely with the Marketing & Admissions team to ensure campaign deliverables are accurately executed.



Lead and be responsible for profitable marketing and student recruitment based on market strategies and opportunities, market research, product development and the overall marketing plan.



Appraise existing sales performance and coordinate marketing and sales efforts to achieve maximum benefit and full and efficient use of resources at all levels.

In conjunction with the College Marketing & Admissions team, develop strategy for promotional material, public relations and marketing communications within overall Group Marketing guidelines.



Prepare quarterly reports on expenditure and student recruitment numbers, and more regular updates for key stakeholders.



Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework within which marketing, sales and admissions operates.



Participate in marketing/sales activities onshore and offshore and potentially take on responsibility for particular key markets.

Prepare and manage financial aspects of Marketing and associated agent monitoring and reports.



Lead, motivate and encourage student recruitment and marketing employees towards an active and involved approach to recruitment and marketing activities.



Collaborate with Navitas Group Marketing and other Navitas Marketing and Admissions Directors.

Admissions: 

Lead Admissions & Recruitment to achieve targets and continuously improve delivery of efficient services in relation to application assessment, offer letter turnaround, issuance of Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs), and conversion work..



Work with the Admissions Manager to lead, motivate and encourage admissions and recruitment employees towards an active, involved, and rigorous approach to admissions and recruitment activities.



Oversee the analysis of recruitment related data to measure achievements against College strategic initiatives and to inform strategic decision-making.



Ensure the Admissions team is effectively monitoring advice from the Department of Immigration Boarder Protection and other regulatory entities regarding changes and amendments to student visa requirements, and keep relevant employees informed of these changes.

3. Qualifications and Selection Criteria Essential: i.
