JOB DESCRIPTION Pastor of Harvest Men Harvest Bible Chapel – Davenport SUMMARY: The Pastor of Harvest Men will lead and mobilize the discipleship of men as

they live for Christ in their families, work, church, and the world. REPORTS TO: Executive Pastor STATUS: Full-time Employee SUPERVISORY ROLE: Yes QUALIFICATIONS: This person must be spiritually mature, teachable, trustworthy, humble to follow, and able to lead. He must have strong interpersonal, organizational, teaching, and managerial competencies. A minimum of a Master’s degree with prior ministry experience and training is preferred. ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Harvest Men  Develop and implement a vision for ministry to and through men at Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport (HBC-D)  Identify, recruit, develop, and mentor a leadership team of committed men: o Shepherding leaders to ensure spiritual health and growth o Supervise leaders to ensure ministry faithfulness, fruitfulness, and fulfillment  Organize and implement Harvest Men’s studies, events, retreats, and other ministry opportunities  Collaborate with other HBC-D ministries on events for families  Identify and follow up with men uninvolved and new to HBC-D, connecting them to HBC-D growth and ministry opportunities  Identify, organize, and offer regular service and outreach opportunities for men in conjunction with the Outreach Ministries of HBC-D  Design and develop a live teaching ministry to the men at HBC-D  Research, procure or develop curriculum and study materials for Men’s Ministries  Develop and manage an annual budget for Harvest Men Administrative & Ministry Support  Perform and oversee various ministry functions and administrative support as required and determined by the Executive Pastor, subject to current ministry needs and specific gift set of the Pastor of Harvest Men. IN GENERAL: This person will do what is necessary to assist the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor in fulfilling the mission and initiatives of Harvest Bible Chapel – Davenport.
