Director of Marketing and Admission (DMA) 12 month fixed term contract £55,000 - £65,000 per annum General Manager – Sales and Marketing EIP 20% of fixed salary Three months 36 days inclusive of eight (8) Bank Holidays

Role Purpose Lead the development, profitable implementation and review of college marketing and student acquisition strategies and initiatives to achieve student growth targets aligned with university partner and regulatory requirements. Overview of Role The Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA) leads the marketing activities for the College to drive student recruitment in line with the targets included in the College 3-year plan. The DMA works closely with the University Partner to develop global strategic recruitment initiatives, with a focus on developing and conveying the institutional value proposition to market. As part of the college and wider Navitas Europe team, the DMA is required to collaborate with colleagues across the division and the Navitas overseas Source Country Office (SCO) network to meet sales targets and increase conversion rates. The DMA will partner with the College Director to build a robust and sustainable relationship with the university partner stakeholders and drive recruitment on behalf of the College and the University.

Technical Role Requirements     

Proven strategic marketing and sales leadership capability Ability to develop commercially viable business plans that deliver on top and bottom line growth expectations Effective operational knowledge and understanding of our product Ability to develop insights and strategies through sales and marketing tools and technology including Salesforce, Marketo and other relevant technology Ability to articulate value propositions in a clear and compelling way

Non-Technical Role Requirements 

     

Ability to convince senior internal and external stakeholders of the merits of strategic plans and proposals Ability to proactively collaborate globally Ability to lead a team of specialist professionals Ability to take data and analysis to drive business decision making Ability to deliver key messages through multi-media channels Ability to respond quickly to market trends to deliver commercial outcomes Reduce complexity and seek simplicity (in working relationships, processes and messaging)

Desirable:       

Experience of leading and delivering organisational change Knowledge of Home Office/UKVI compliance Experience of brand development and managing brand transition Familiarity with the Higher Education sector, internationally or within the UK Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related area Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification
