Overview and objectives of the position: Reporting to the General Manager Sales and Marketing, the Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA) leads the launch of The Netherlands and further marketing activities to drive student recruitment in line with the targets included in the business model. The DMA works closely with the University Partners to develop global strategic recruitment initiatives, with a focus on developing and conveying the institutional value propositions to market. As part of the wider Navitas Europe team, the DMA is required to collaborate with colleagues across the division and the Navitas overseas Source Country Office (SCO) network to meet sales targets and increase conversion rates. Proven product marketing expertise Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns to deliver business growth Ability to create and articulate value propositions in a clear and compelling way Experience of leading and managing teams to success Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the impact of marketing activities and report appropriately Experience of preparing business plans and developing new products Experience of managing budgets and demonstrating return on investment Experience working with matrix stakeholders Experience with transformational environments

Non-Technical Role Requirements  

Ability to use data and market analysis to drive business decision making Ability to deliver key messages through multi-media channels

Ability to respond quickly to market trends to deliver commercial outcomes Ability to reduce complexity and seek simplicity (in working relationships, processes and messaging) Willingness to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes Knowledge of the Dutch higher education sector and value proposition Knowledge of Dutch admissions, visa and compliance regulations High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills Proven ability as an authentic team player A passion for customer service Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking and drive new initiatives A high degree of cultural sensitivity and awareness Dutch language proficiency Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Key Result areas 

As part of the senior leadership team in The Netherlands lead the launch of The Netherlands as a new country destination and the launch of new individual colleges across the Dutch portfolio: Develop marketing materials Coordinate specific launch activities with the partner universities



Lead the Colleges marketing and admissions teams to achieve student recruitment targets across markets, intakes and products through the development and implementation of product marketing plans. Activities can typically include: Management and monitoring of the college pipeline of prospective students alongside the in market sales teams Training in market sales teams Developing lead generation campaigns with the in market teams Conversion and student engagement campaigns Maintaining relationships with regulatory, government and other advisory bodies



Work with the partner universities and other internal stakeholders to develop and articulate the value proposition of the colleges with an appreciation of market nuances. This includes leading the marketing teams in developing strategies and campaigns to promote new, niche or specific products.



Working with the European Recruitment Directors to feed into the annual and quarterly, student recruitment targets by product and by market to help achieve overall College revenue and profit goals by: -

Accounting for destination country regulatory changes and product trends Reviewing spend and results from previous period Monitoring university partner educational landscape and incorporating into product marketing Mapping assumptions that underpin student growth target Ensuring the College recruitment strategy is aligned/re-aligned with Divisional goals Ensuring the College and the university partner are aligned in terms of agent strategy Ensure the colleges remains within national and internal guidelines for compliance. This includes accountability for:
