Director of Marketing and Admissions University of Northampton International College (UNIC) Salary: Competitive Permanent – Full Time Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs and language training. The Director of Marketing and Admission (DMA) is responsible to the College Director Principal for the strategic direction and growth of the college marketing and sales activities. This includes the oversight of new and existing UNIC business relationships and opportunities domestically and internationally. The DMA will ensure that the relationships with Navitas Global Recruitment team (GRT) and Navitas UK Admission and Recruitment Centre (ARC) will lead to UNIC student number targets being met or exceeded. The DMA is responsible for the development and management of the college marketing budget; the devolved GRT budget oversight for UNIC, marketing and communications and compliance strategies for UNIC and will work with the Navitas Universities Partnership Europe General Manager, Marketing and Recruitment and GRT to develop a marketing plan that includes a 5 year student numbers and product development plan for the College. As a member of the College Management Team, the DMA will contribute to the overall strategic plan, Annual Report and governance of the partnership. Overview of the Position The Director of Marketing and Admission (DMA) is responsible to the College Director Principal for the strategic direction and growth of the college marketing and sales activities. This includes the oversight of new and existing UNIC business relationships and opportunities domestically and internationally. The DMA will assist the CDP in ensuring that that key performance indicators for the College are achieved which include: meeting agreed in year new student numbers targets, meeting agreed turnaround time of UNIC offers; gaining positive feedback in market of UNIC brand and products; gaining positive feedback from key stakeholders at strategic and operational level and attracting and retaining talent.

Marketing Lead the value and brand proposition for UNIC Lead the implementation of cost effective, product and regional focused, marketing strategies and sales/recruitment tactics underpinned by comprehensive market research as determined by the College Marketing Plan Maintain and improve the College’s and Navitas’ competitive position through business growth and development In consultation with the General Manager, Marketing and Recruitment, University Partnerships Europe, develop business cases for new products, informed by market intelligence, that increase market penetration

 

Admission 

Lead the application processing, payment and student arrival activities at UNIC

Compliance  

Responsible for ensuring Tier 4 compliance and QAA Code of Practice in all marketing and recruitments processes process Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework governing the marketing, sales/recruitment and admissions functions while overseeing wide college compliance processes are monitored nd reviewed

Leadership and Management         

Assist CDP in the College strategic planning processes Work closely with the Director of Academic and Student Services to develop student number plans, forecasts and budgets Manage the College relationship with ARC and GRTs. Assist CDP in the management of the Marketing budget for the College Manage the HR process for College Marketing Student Recruitment and Admission staff including recruitment and induction Lead and manage the Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admission Team for the College Assist CDP in the Governance of the University Partnership Manage the relationship between the College and the Partner University’s International Office Lead risk assessment of market, recruitment and admission processes for UNIC

Other   

Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding college information and student files Participate in enrolment and orientation activities Carry out duties as may be required by the CDP
