OVERVIEW STATEMENT: The mission of our family of faith is to make disciples of Jesus

Christ. Our strategy for accomplishing this mission: Connect, Grow, and Serve. INTRODUCTION: A disciple is a committed follower of Jesus Christ. We've chosen Connect,

Grow, and Serve to describe this discipleship journey. Each of these actions can occur at any level of maturity and may occur simultaneously. These actions are initiated by God and made possible as He works in and through us. CONNECT The discipleship journey requires us all to connect with Jesus and our community, and to help others do the same. Connecting involves making relationships that create growth and promote service. GROW The discipleship journey requires us all to grow in Christ and help others do the same. This growth occurs as we Pray, Hear God’s Word, Share God’s Word, Worship, and Serve, both individually and in community. SERVE The discipleship journey requires us all to serve Jesus, our family of faith, and the world around us. Serving involves making sacrifices that develop connections with others and provide opportunities for growth.
