About half of all marriages end in divorce, and the losses associated with it are enormous. But when your marriage is on the rocks, divorce isn’t the only option. Finding restoration isn’t an easy journey, but God can transform marriages and heal even the deepest pain.

Discussion Questions 1. Why are feelings terrible decision-makers? Give an example of a situation where making a decision based solely on your emotions hurt you in the end. 2. How do you and your spouse or significant other put God at the center of your relationship? If He’s not at the center, what steps can you take this week to put Him there? 3. Read Malachi 2:15-16. How have you seen the effects of divorce, either in your own life or in the life of a friend, family member, or co-worker? 4. What boundaries do you currently have in place to keep you from temptation? What boundaries do you need to add?

Challenge What will it take for you to get healthy—either in your relationships or as an individual? Take one step toward physical, emotional, or spiritual health this week. Set up an appointment with a counselor, attend Divorce Care, go on a walk and spend time in prayer, or take a step of forgiveness toward someone.
