Most of our prayers are way too safe and predictable. So, what if we started to be bold and pray more dangerous prayers? When we ask God to examine our hearts and minds, he begins to transform our thoughts and actions.

Discussion Questions 1. God desires that we really challenge him with our prayers. If you could ask God for anything, what would it be? What miracle would you ask Him to do? 2. We’re often the last ones to see our own problems, but we can’t change for the better without examining our own hearts. Ask a trusted friend or family member what your blind spots are. How can you take steps to overcome them? 3. Read James 1:22. God calls us to not only listen to his word but to DO what it says. What scripture or area in life do you struggle with living out? 4. In his message, Bob said, “What I fear the most is usually where I’m trusting God the least.” What is making you anxious or afraid right now? How can you begin to trust God with this fear?

Challenge Make Psalm 139:23-24 your prayer this week. As you meditate on it, ask yourself these three questions: What is God telling me? What are other people trying to tell me? Where am I most defensive?
