When faced with big decisions, we often wish God would just tell us what to do. But as we become God-led, wisdom-filled, Christ-following people, we’re going to know where to go and what to do. When God’s Word and wisdom seeps down into our hearts, it becomes part of who we are—so, when faced with a tough decision, we’ll better know what to do.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1. What have been the top defining decisions in your life? What has been the impact of those decisions? 2. Take a few minutes and think about what your top values are. How will establishing these values change how you make decisions? 3. Beginning today, what are some things in your life that you will never, ever do? By deciding what these are, it will help you make the right decision when faced with temptation. 4. Read James 1:5 and Proverbs 4:7. What do these verses say about wisdom? What 1-2 things can you start to do in your own life to gain more godly wisdom?

CHALLENGE Set aside time this week to review your values, determine what you’re not going to do, and spend time in God’s word on a regular basis. Commit to making decisions based on these areas.

COMMIT TO MEMORY I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11
