Don & Nancy, who have a background in pastoring, were accepted by Awana in May 1988. With Awana, they assist churches in reaching the lost and training believers. They oversee and supervise the ministry in Central and Southern Illinois. Their work includes presenting and explaining the club ministry to church leadership and congregations, training and serving Awana leaders, and facilitating various events and activities. Nancy’s first responsibility is that of wife and mother, and she also serves as Girls’ Director of the Awana Truth & Training Club at their church. Don says, “I have always been excited about what Awana is doing and can do for local churches to fulfill this biblical mandate of "evangelize and disciple."
