12 For we do not wrestle against

lesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand irm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6.12-15

What are some ways that Christians should be “ready” for the battle? Peace with God is something that we talk about a lot in the church. Look up the following verses and discuss them or journal about them. What do they tell us about having peace with God? Romans 5.1; Philippians 4.7; Colossians 3.15; Romans 16.20) Where do you need to stand irm in your life? How can the Gospel of peace help you to remain irm in that area? Where are some places that you feel compelled to advance the message of peace with God? Ask others to pray for you in the coming weeks so that you can be bold enough to carry that message with you.
