Prayer of Confession (in unison, followed by silent prayer) O God, we come to You today, confessing that in our efforts to bear witness to the gospel, we have too often spoken when we ought to have listened, and remained silent when You were ready for us to speak. As we learn from the early apostles, help us to be more attentive, first to Your Spirit, and then to the needs of those we encounter. Teach us how to wait with patience. Then, when the moment is right, may we share with confidence and grace what we have seen and heard. (silent prayer) Amen. Affirmation of Grace *Response Glory to God (Children please come forward)

Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. *Closing Hymn
