WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 08/27/2017

Report from Carmen DeVries with Ethnos360 “Summer always goes by too quickly. I confess I wasn’t ready for summer to end, but grateful for the time I had in the States. I visited six supporting churches and was encouraged by many. My heart is overwhelmed with all those who are a part of the team helping bring the Good News to people in Papua New Guinea. I could not be here without you. The 2017-2018 school year has officially started, and I am teaching 6th grade again. The fourteen students had a great first week. I am very excited to teach this class and watch them grow. On the first day of science , I asked why we study science. One student answered, “So we can know God better.” Definitely a good start to the year. This fall, the missionaries in the Pei tribe plan to start sharing the Good News with the people. Please pray for open hearts and minds. Also, pray for spiritual and physical safety for the missionaries. One team member was recently medevacked to Australia for a foot injury. Pray that he can rejoin the team soon in good health. Pray for the three men, Benny, Pauis, and Endru, who helped during the medical crisis. Pray they will be open to God’s Truth.”
