CHILDREN’S PRAYER MUSICAL CALL

“Lord, Have Mercy”

CONFESSION Lord, we confess that we don’t always choose to be kind. We allow our jealousy to cloud our judgement, our envy of others to cause spite in our hearts. We wish ill will on those whom we have viewed as our adversaries. Help us to lead with love, to choose to be kind instead of spiteful, and to follow in the ways that you have laid out for us. Amen. § MUSICAL RESPONSE “Lord, Have Mercy” “Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy on us.”

SHARING OUR GIFTS “At the Table of the Lord” Jay Althouse “At the table of the Lord bread is broken. At the table of the Lord we are fed. We remember now the words that Christ has spoken: ‘This is my body.’ he said. At the table of the Lord, in thanksgiving, we have come to drink the wine which is poured. We remember him, who dies for us, now living. We remember Christ, our Lord. At the table of the Lord we are meeting. In communion we are many in one. For wherever we are gatherd, there our Lord will be. At the table of the Lord we shall be free.” Women’s Chorus

INVITATION TO THE TABLE One: All: One: All: One: All:

The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.

LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
