Global – Persecution & Martyrdom In recent years, persecution and killing of Christians has been on the increase. A number of global organisations conduct research, provide public information, and seek to defend those who are caught in legal battles in their countries. Pray: For these ministries, esp. for the ones who risk their lives by going into countries to research and verify the living conditions and situation of Christians. For people in danger, who today languish in prison, or are under surveillance, knowing that any day they may be attacked or arrested. Protection for those living in harm’s way in places where people who hate His Name would threaten and imperil them. Malaysia: Forthcoming GE14 Pray: For politicians to practise restraint, and conduct themselves honourably in the run up to the polls, and not stoke racial or religious tensions, or intentionally cause fear and insecurity, or use corrupt practices to bait voters.
