Monday 3rd — Friday 7th 5:30pm — 8:30pm VBS...“THE GREAT ADVENTURE” Classes available for infants  through high    school. Meal begins at 5:30pm and classes     start at 6:00pm nightly. NOTICE: VBS VOLS REGISTER NOW… to improve our security,    volunteers must register prior to VBS.  No    entry in buildings without pre‐registra on.

Wednesday 5th ————— 9:00am TLC SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM needing vols               through the summer to prepare food for                   needy children in our area.  Delivery at                     11:30am.  The Center is located at 145 Judge Don Lewis Blvd # 7, Elizabethton.

Saturday 8th ——————– 9:00am SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER in lobby.    3:00pm    SENIOR ADULTS to Dolly Parton’s   “Pirates Voyage Dinner Theater” in Pigeon    Forge.  Bus and transit van leaves    church at 3:00pm, show starts at    6:00pm, and return at 10:30pm.

Events & Activities JUNE 12 (Wednesday) SECOND HARVEST MOBILE FOOD PANTRY in gravel lot at 8:30am.  Vols appreciated.   SUMMER QUARTERLY BUSINESS SESSION with new    candidates for membership.  JUNE 16 — 19 ( Sunday —Wednesday) APPALACHIAN ASSOCIATION YOUTH CAMP at The Oaks in Greeneville, Tn.  for 5th — 12 grade students.   Bus will  leave the church at 2:00pm Sunday.     DEADLINE to sign‐up is June 9th. FORGE CONNECT JUNE 22 — 28 ( Saturday — Friday) ACT ATEAM MISSION TRIP to  Ti on, Georgia. JULY 8 — AUGUST 2 (Monday — Friday) “THE FORGE” SUMMER DAY CAMPS. A full week of ac vi es, Bible study,    and fellowship.  9:00am ‐ 4:00pm.    Drop off at Fellowship Hall each                              morning. FORGE CONNECT

  JULY 12, 13 (Friday — Saturday) WOMEN’S SUMMER NC TRIP to        “Going Beyond Live” with  Priscilla Shirer and to The Billy Graham  Library in Charlo e, NC.  We will    leave the church at 8:00am on Friday & return Saturday    at 10:00pm. Costs $70. Limited space.  FORGE CONNECT

   

News & Opportunities  

PARKING NOTICE: EFFECTIVE TODAY, the gravel parking area will be par ally closed due to construc on project.   Extra parking available at school and upper lot. ALL MEMBERS AND ATTENDEES are invited to    sign the Bible located in the foyer. This will be    placed in the founda on of “The Forge” during    construc on. 

  CORY LAWSON obtains Eagle Scout Award,  the first for Boy Scout Troop 516.  This  tle is  the hardest achievement in the Boy Scouts of  America program.  It requires 21 Merit badges  and several years to achieve.  

  THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE and for “bearing  the heat” during the change  out of our HVAC.  This has  been a major project and the  Lord has once again blessed  our Church Family.

 

Tip Of The Week PLEASE PLACE USED SUNDAY SCHOOL LITERATURE in  provided plas c bins in foyer and lower level hallways.   These are given to other churches/ ministries in the area.
