God Story

Today I committed my life to Jesus!

Dear Calvary Church, My name is Ainsley and I am in fifth grade at Houserville Elementary School in State College, PA. I would like to donate to Calvary because you help people in need, like those who are poor, hungry, in jail, or in third-world countries like the Dominican Republic. It helps me to know that other people who aren’t as lucky can still enjoy some things.

I would like to talk more to someone about Jesus. My prayer request is....

I made this money by being a vendor in the Arts and Crafts and Caring Fair. With my partner Sullivan, we sold beaded bracelets, book bracelets, and candy sleds. The bracelets were strips of fabric with small beads sewn into them to make cool designs. For the book bracelets, we took chains and attached mini books to them that could be opened and written in. The candy sleds had two candy canes and six small bars of candy that could be regular Hershey’s chocolate, Hershey’s dark chocolate, or Krackel bars. Those sold out the fastest! The Arts and Crafts and Caring fair is an event where participating fifth graders can sell things they made, and then donate to a charity. The items were bought by kids in first to fifth grade. The fair took place on December 12th. The best part of the whole fun event was probably a tie between getting to give money to any charity and getting to finally do the event, after just being consumers for years. Thank you for giving to those who need help.

Sincerely,
