DIRECTIONS: From POINT LOMA to CAMP MARSTON, JULIAN 4761 Pine Hills Road, Julian, CA 92036 | Travel time: Approx 1 hour 30 minutes There are two good routes that take the same amount of time. Route 1 uses more freeway than Route 2. ROUTE 1 (through El Cajon, Alpine, Cuyamaca State Park and Julian):

Take 8 EAST for approx 42 miles. Exit at CA-79, and proceed North on CA-79, past Descanso, for 23 miles. When you reach the T-intersection at Julian, turn Left onto Main Street, go only 4 blocks through the little town of Julian, and turn Left at Julian Rd/Washington Rd. Go approx one mile on Julian Rd and turn Left onto Pine Hills Road. (*You will see a sign for a large billboard for Pine Hills Lodge on the right side of the road.)

Stay on Pine Hills Road 2.7 miles. Pine Hills Road ends at Camp Marston. The road "Y's" a few times, but there are signs directing you at each intersection. As you enter Camp, keep driving until you reach the parking lot. Park your car, please check in and enjoy your stay at Camp Marston.

ROUTE 2 (through Poway and Ramona):

Take 8 East to 15 North and proceed approx 13 miles on 15 North. Exit Scripps Poway Parkway and proceed through Poway approx 9 miles. At the T-intersection, turn Left onto CA-67, which turns into CA-78 East through Ramona. Follow CA-78 East through the small towns of Santa Ysabel and Wynola, for a total of approx 32 miles. Approximately one mile BEFORE you reach Julian you will turn Right onto Pine Hills Road. (*You will see a sign for Camp Marston on the right and a large billboard for Pine Hills Lodge on the left side of the road.)
