Rixonway Kitchens take ethical trading very seriously and thus strive to ensure the wellbeing of all employees within the supply chain. The Company further guarantees that no business relationship will be knowingly undertaken with any company that breaches international rights and/or national laws. The Chief Executive is ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy, and specifically to: ·

Ensure all employment is freely chosen.

·

Provide working conditions that are both safe and hygienic.

·

Ensure child labour is not used.

·

Strict adherence to EU Working Time Regulations.

·

Ensure no discrimination is practiced.

·

Ensure no harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed.

·

Ensure that wages are both fair and comparable to other employers, and where possible exceed minimum wage.

·

Ensure good environmental stewardship is practised.

·

Ensure that no harsh, cruel or degrading treatment or practices are permitted.

·

Ensure all staff are entitled to belong to trade unions and respect to collective bargaining is shown.

·

Ensure no bribery, corruption, blackmailing or bullying is permitted.

·

Ensure suppliers and buyers are both free to sell and buy from any number of other business or outlets. No restrictions, as a way of agreeing business, are allowed.

The policy is issued and explained to all employees and copies are prominently displayed throughout the premises and intranet. All staff are fully trained in the meaning and implications of this ethical trading policy. Any action to move away from the aforementioned ethical trading criteria will be taken with utmost seriousness and any infringements of the policy will be dealt with swiftly and with the relevant due care and attention. Rixonway Kitchens also ensure that they will continue to strive for continuous improvement in the working conditions of all employees throughout their supply chain.
