The Scriptures Are the Word of God We are to feast upon the words of Christ The words of Christ will tell us all things we should do. I can know the scriptures are true. Song:

"I Will Follow God's Plan" The Scriptures Teach of Heavenly Fathers Plan "For behold, this is my work and my glory - to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39) Heavenly Father has a plan for me. Jesus Christ created the earth for me. Families are central to Heavenly Father's plan. I will follow God's plan.

"Stand for the Right" Heavenly Father Speaks to Us through His Prophet "What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken,… whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same" (D&C 1:38) Phophets speak for Heavenly Father. We are led by a living prophet today. There is safety in following the prophet.

Scripture Power Jesus Christ Is My Savior and Redeemer "We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel" (Articles of Faith 1:3) Jesus Christ was chosen to be our Savior. Jesus Christ is the perfect example for me. Through the Atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved. Jesus Christ was resurrected, and I will be too.

Search, Ponder and Pray The First Principles and Ordinances of the Gospel Make it Possible for Me to Live with God Again. "We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are first, Faith in the the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance, third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Articles of Faith 1:4) Faith in Jesus Christ leads us to love Him, trust Him, and keep His commandments. Repentance brings forgiveness. When I am baptized, I make a covenant with God.

"I Love to See the Temple" The Temple is a House of God "Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally" (The Family: A Proclamation to the World," paragraph 3) God has commanded His people to build temples. Families are blessed through sacred temple ordinances. The pioneers worked hard and sacrificied to build temples. I can prepare to be worthy to go to the temple.

"The Lord Gave Me a Temple" My Body Is a Temple of God "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? The temple of God is holy, which temple ye are" (1 Corinthians 3:16-17) My body is a temple. Dressing modestly shows respect for Heavenly Father and myself. Living the Word of Wisdom shows respect for my body. Reading, watching, and listening to wholesome things keeps my mind clean. The gospel will be preached in all the world. "This gospel shall be preached unto every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" (D&C 133:37) The scriptures teach that the gospel will be preached in all the world. Missionary work blessess everyone. I can prepare now to serve a mission.

"Latter Day Prophets" Prayer is reverent communication between God and me. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him." (James 1:5) I can pray to Heavenly Father. The scriptures teach me how and when to pray. Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." (Matthew 22:37) Reverence is love and respect for God. Reverence during the sacrament helps me to remember Jesus Christ. I can show reverence for sacred places and things. Reverence for God helps me respect and love others. The scriptures teach me about the Savior's birth and second coming. "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works." (Matthew 16:27) Prophets prophesied about the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was born. Jesus Christ will someday return to the earth. To prepare for the Second Coming, I will follow Jesus Christ.
