BIBLE VERSE: Esther 4:14 (READ CARD PROVIDED ON CLASS CLIPBOARD) “If you don’t speak up now, we will somehow get help, but you and your family will be killed. It could be that you were made queen for a time like this!” TODAY’S GOALS  Recite the books of the Bible we have learned so far: Genesis through Esther.  Understand the basic story of the Bible: God created a perfect world, but people messed it up. People do not obey God. God loves us so much he wants to rescue us. The Bible teaches about God’s ultimate rescue plan for all people.  Know that Israel (the Promised Land) split in two: Israel & Judah and each kingdom was taken over by other nations.  Understand that many of God’s people were taken to Persia. This is where Esther lives.  Understand the basic story of Esther and that she saved all of the Jews from being killed.  Know that Esther was brave and is a hero. She is part of God’s special plan.
