Yellow School News March 2019 Hi Yellow School parents! March has arrived! The classrooms are in full swing and projects and learning abound! As always, we have lots of fun events coming up! See below for more information! Love, Candice

Kindergarten Our field trip this month is to the Railroad Museum. We had so much fun at Main Street Theater last month and plan to do it next year! The Rodeo Parades were fun and our children said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang as well. The children have been showing all of the classes their 100 day projects (they are so proud!) and explaining what they did to make them.

During the month of March, we will study the book of Matthew and Acts. We’ll hear about the many amazing and powerful miracles Jesus performed, being the Son of God. We’ll explore the many ways Jesus showed us how to be kind, generous and love one another, keeping two of the most important commandments of all; God is Number One and Love your neighbor as yourself.

Summer School On March 8th, registration will open for new and current families for the summer session. June will be a four week session (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and July will be a three week session (Tuesday and Wednesday). With the 4th of July falling on Thursday and Summer Celebration, July with be an abbreviated session (with an abbreviated tuition rate too!). There is no charge for registration for the summer for current families. The hours will be 9 – 2:30 – carline at 8:45.

Spanish with Mrs. Valdez We have been learning about shapes during February and the children have done so well and are ready to move on! We will be talking about days of the week and body parts during the month of March. It is a pleasure teaching your children! They love Spanish and make teaching fun!

Placement is now complete for next fall. I am emailing everyone and will be sending home packets with paperwork soon! Summer placement will be completed over Spring Break.
