MAY 14 PARENT CONNECTION
We hope you had time to read our last week’s Parent Connection! We have attached a copy in case you missed it! We are so excited about the changes happening beginning June 4 and want you to be aware of how the changes affect your family! Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing ideas with you and answering questions that others are asking that might help you navigate this change. So why are your making a change? We know that it is hard for families to stay late at church, to navigate lunch, and nap times. Earlier times allows you to make your Sunday look different. It also allows you an easy invite to other families you know. You can invite them to come to church with your family, eat lunch with you, and still be home in time for naps. For our K‐5th graders it opens the door for us to teach the kid’s in many different learning styles within our one hour programming. We can offer small group relationships as well as dynamic large group experience for our kids. This provides our guests who attend one hour to have an opportunity to have their children experience the best Kid Ministry experience! We also love the opportunity that taking K‐5th graders to worship will afford you as a family! Your kids will learn that worship is a family activity. We will walk beside you as you teach your kids how to worship in “Big” worship and help you as you apply their learning to your everyday family life! So what will exactly change for my babies through four year olds? Babies through four year olds, will use computer check‐in to check your kids in and take them to their regular classroom. Your kids will continue to have great Bible lessons discovering who God is and participate in age appropriate activities to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus. You may see different leaders in the classroom as we staff the schedule change. Please introduce yourself and let them know about your small person. Our leaders are phenomenal and love being part of your family! So why are K‐5th grade only doing large group for the summer and changing later? When are they changing to the large group/small group format? We have large group planned and ready for the summer. We need to make some changes in our teaching and need the summer to prepare and be ready! August 20 at Move Up Time, we will make the change to large group/small group. We want the best experience for your kids to learn about Jesus !
