About Us

With an experienced and knowledgeable staff of 7, Northern Title Company of Wyoming has been serving Sweetwater County since March of 2006. With offices in both Rock Springs and Green River we can accommodate your needs. We also have offices in Pinedale, Evanston and Thayne Wyoming to serve your needs. When you are buying or selling a home or property, the last thing you want to discover is that the property has a complication you were unaware of, which may affect the transaction. Northern Title seeks to protect buyers and sellers from such situations. The company performs title examinations on real estate records and issues title insurance policies for buyers, sellers and lenders along with performing escrow closing work. Another service available is IRS 1031 exchanges, which make it possible for one property owner to sell real estate and purchase a different piece of real estate, and thereby defer the payment of federal income taxes. Next time you are in the market to sell, buy or refinance, remember Northern Title Company where “Good Deeds Done Daily” is truly our motto.

On October 30th, the City of Green River was the first community in America to hold a celebration in recognition of National Mine Rescue Day. In perfect Wyoming style the day turned out to be cold and windy. Though the weather did us no favors the community turned out in great numbers to pay respect to the men and women past, present and future who risk their lives to help their fellow miners. Many of this community’s industry and political leaders were in attendance on Friday. Senator Bernadine Craft read a proclamation from the Office of Governor Mead recognizing Mine Rescue Day in the state of Wyoming, Secretary of State Murray sent a poignant letter to the community and Mayor Rust read the first Mine Rescue Day proclamation which originated right here in Green River. Members of Mutual Aid, and cooperative of rescue teams from the mines performed a reenactment of an actual mine rescue, and to end the event the ribbon was cut on the beautiful bronze statue, “Shift Change” by Bryan Cordova, as it took its permanent place at the Mining Memorial Park. Green River is honored to have been the first city to recognize all of the valiant individuals above ground and below who are involved in mine rescue. You perform a great service to the state of Wyoming, your country and most of all, your community. Thank you for your participation in this event: Mine Rescue Team members; Senator Bernadine Craft; Mayor Pete Rust; Ken Ball, Vice President Holmes Mine Rescue Association; Terry Adcock, Wyoming Director of State Inspectors; Dustan Crelly, Assistant Director MSHA; Jeiremy Gomez, Chairman, Green River Arts Council; Jerry Klein, CEO of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County; Joe Thompson, Solvay; and Brian Cordova, artist.
