Our current sermon series, MOVEMENT, is an exploration of 2 Corinthians. The focus of the series is on the church. The church is not a building. The church is not even a conglomeration of people. The church is a movement, a group of people ‘called out’ (ekklesia) to meet and glorify God, and to represent His Kingdom to a broken world. The church doesn’t sit still; it moves and grows. To be a Christian is to be on the move! Throughout this series we will explore what it means to be a part of this Movement of God.

Sunday Evening, January 29 – Sanctuary The Annual Meeting of the Congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is called for Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. By Order of the Session Kim Lee, Clerk Join us for our annual celebration of the life and ministry of First Pres. We will celebrate with a worship service in the Sanctuary as we look ahead to what God is calling First Pres to in our next chapter. Construction Update The work on the Fellowship Plaza has progressed to the point that the Weber Street Entrance needs to remain closed to the public until the project is complete, including on Sundays. Those who need a handicapped entrance will still be able to enter through the vendor doors and access the elevators. All the regular Sanctuary doors will be open on Sunday. In addition, the door in Hansen Hall near the Library is open on Sundays. There will be signs in place to direct you. A children’s check-in station will be set up near the elevators by the Library where the stairs to the Plaza are located.
