General Assembly Service – On Sunday, June 25th, we will be participating in the quadrennial Nazarene General Assembly Sunday service via livestream. We will have one combined service at 10:00 a.m. with communion being service. We will not be having Growth Classes. Please mark your calendars for this exciting service!

Church Elections – We will be having our annual church elections this Sunday, May 14th, and next Sunday, May 21st. If you are an active official member (age 15 or older), please take time to vote in the Choir Room before or after both morning services this Sunday or next! Project 5K 2017 – In order to help raise project funds for the 2017 District Missions trip to Honduras, the Michigan District Church of the Nazarene is sponsoring a 5K run/walk and a 14 mile bike ride this Saturday, May 20th. The cost to participate is $25. This money will be used to help install a water filtration system at the church in Honduras, develop a soccer field for ministry use, support a medical clinic, and show the Jesus Film. Even if you are not able to participate, please consider sponsoring someone! You can find more information and register online at www.minaz.org Baby Bottle Blessing – The Pregnancy Resource Center has been on the front lines of saving lives and changing hearts since 1983. Please consider taking home a baby bottle (available at the Welcome Center), and fill it with your change, bills, or personal checks to help support the PRC. Bottles need to be returned by Sunday, May 21st. Please also continue to pray for the Pregnancy Resource Center.

Worship Tree House Ministries – 10:30 a.m. in the Tree House Summer Calendars – Be sure to grab summer calendar from the Tree House or Early Childhood information boards! Connect KidConnect – Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for our KidConnect program for children! We will have nursery available. Our Midweek Dinner is from 5:45 – 6:45 (more info under the adult “More Opportunities” section) and we also have adult Growth Classes at 7:00. Grow K-5th Grade Growth Classes – Sundays from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the Community Center
OFCN Outside Work Day – We need all hands on deck in order to help clean up the church grounds! On Saturday, June 10th, we will begin working at 8:00 a.m. in order to move dirt, trim trees, and complete many other little jobs. Please mark your calendars now, and fill out a Connect Card if you are planning to help out!
More Opportunities OFCN Membership Class (Connecting with OFCN) – Pastor Brad will be teaching a membership class this Saturday, May 20th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Moss Hall. This class will cover the core beliefs of our denomination as well as the mission, vision, values, and strategy of our local church. This class is also a pre-requisite for membership. Please fill out a Connect Card if you would like to attend! OFCN College Group – We are going to be getting together as a group a few times this summer! For the month of June, Pastors Chris and Leslie are going to host a bonfire/game night at their home on Saturday, June 3rd, at 6 p.m. Los Tres will be catering our meal (free to you, of course). Contact Pastor Chris for more information. Please come, and invite any of your friends who you think could really use this. NEW OFCN Apparel– We have new OFCN apparel, including polos, sweatshirts, long sleeve t’s, and more! These items are only available in our online store, and it will only be open through May 31st. More Opportunities Friday Night Lights – Our next FNL is on Friday, May 19th, from 6-9 p.m. We will have awesome activities that provide a safe place for students to connect with one another. FNL is a free event, but we will have refreshments for sale.
Summer Camp Financial Assistance – The financial assistance applications for middle and high school camps this summer are due to Pastor Chris by May 24th. Forms are available on the information board outside the youth room.
