Newsletter Adventure For The City Kids Camp!

VBS/VBX 2017 June 12-15, 8:30 am to Noon From the cloud-shrouded ruins of Machu Picchu to the exotic flavors of the Amazon, kids will hear what daily life is like in Peru. They will be immersed into this vibrant culture where they discover God’s good gifts for us all. VBS is for children entering Kindergarten through kids completing 5th grade. Preschool and Nursery children are welcome with a volunteering parent or guardian. Our missions project this year is to help provide clean water for children in Peru. For just $5, you can provide clean water for an entire year for a child in a remote Peruvian Village. Our goal is to collect $1,000, which will provide clean water for 200 children.
Glorieta is bringing Camp to our backyard this year! Your children will not want to miss experiencing Christ-like transformation through outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and Biblical truth. Cost is $135 for the week, with part & full scholarships available. You can pay an extra $5 a day for After Camp Care until 5:30 pm. Please consider donating extra to our scholarship fund. This will enable kids to come who are not normally able to experience camp. You never know what your selfless gift can do in the life of a child! * sack lunch * sandals or flip flops
* towel * water bottle
*sunscreen * extra change of clothes
* swimsuit

Promotion Sunday, August 20
Where all children move up to the next grade-level. More information will be sent out at the end of the summer about classroom #s and teachers. New kindergarteners will also receive Bibles on this day.

August 2-5 at Mo-Ranch Kids who have completed 4th and 5th grade will be promoting into our Bridge 56 class in the Fall. To help welcome and celebrate these preteens, we will have a kick-off retreat at Mo-Ranch near Hunt, TX. We’ll make some good memories through Bible story, worship, ropes course, swimming, 38’ tall water slide, hiking, and many more activities. We will leave after lunch on August 2, and return to the church around Noon on August 5. Cost is $75 per student. Parents are more than welcome to join us as sponsors. Email me at
