INTRODUCTION Winter comes with both challenges and opportunities for the independent optometrist. Ensure your entire practice is prepared to make the most out of the end of the year and build momentum for a strong start to 2018. Black Friday



Use the Trunk Show Planning Guide to prepare for an end-of-the-year promotion, such as Black Friday. Advertise your event with social media graphics and flyers.

FSA for Second Pairs

Complete the FSA Education training. Use the End-of-Year Marketing Guide to start building your marketing plan. Prepare your recall strategy with these best practices. Encourage every staff member to ask every patient about their FSA plan. Print out this break room flyer and use it in your office as a reminder to staff.

Ask every patient about their FSA plan. Print out multiple-pair posters to encourage patients to spend their FSA dollars on a second pair of eyewear. Take or retake the 2017 training in The Optical Dream.

 

Ask every patient about their FSA plan. Use social media posts to encourage patients to spend their FSA dollars on a blue light blocking lens, such as Transitions.

Download and print editable gift certificates and counter cards to let patients know you offer gift certificates.
