Dr. Dean currently serves as Clinical Professor of Medicine—Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and practices through Central Georgia Pulmonary Associates. Previously, Dr. Dean served as Chair of the Department of Medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine and Program Director for the Mercer Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Dr. Dean has served as medical director of the Medical Center of Central Georgia’s pulmonary rehabilitation program and as medical director of the high observation unit at Regency Hospital of Central Georgia. He received his MD degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he completed his internship and residency training as well as his fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease.
