Dulux Weathershield Ultima (Sheen) Acrylic Emulsion for Exterior Description Dulux Weathershield Ultima, premium quality emulsion paint for exterior and interior. An innovation with Colour Lock, exclusive ICI registered trademark, based on 100% high quality acrylic resin with methyl methacrylate as main component and pigmented with light-fast pigment to give excellent weathering resistance under tropical climate for long lasting beauty. Contains no added lead and no added mercury. Suitable for the decoration and protection of exterior and interior concrete, cement, asbestos cement, brick work, timber and other, especially for high-rise building where long-lasting paint is required. Application Method Thinning Dilution

Brush, roller or spray Clean Water Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts of paint (10%)

Application

Application System Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from dirt and loose materials. Repair all cracks with Dulux Acrylic Filler 1040. All surfaces must be sealed and prevented water to leak to the paint films to avoid film bubble or peeling. Step 1 Surface Preparation

- New unpainted Masonry or good condition previously painted masonry : - Previously painted masonry or powdery surfaces :

Leave surface dry for at least 1 month. Rub down and treat any area affected by fungus and algae with Dulux Weathershield Mouldwash and leave it overnight to dry. Then rinse off with water and allow the wall to dry. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet [sanding]/ [flatting] should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.

Step 2 Priming

Apply 1 coat of Dulux WeatherShield Superprimer. Allow at least 2-3 hours drying before applying topcoat. Apply a thin coat of Dulux Maseal A200-743 and allow 6-8 hours drying prior applying top coat. Apply 2 coats of Dulux WeatherShield Ultima. Allow 2-3 hours drying between coat. Diluted with clean water only.
