Crossrail Farringdon - Road and lane closures - March – July 2016 Thank you for your patience whilst we continue building the new Crossrail Farringdon station. We apologise for any disruption you may have experienced. We have now reached the stage whereby we can now remove the ground movement monitoring equipment located by 90 Cowcross Street which will necessitate night time closures to through traffic between 23 to 27 March.

• 1 – 3 April 2016 for crane movements/steel lifting Cowcross Street

Due to space constraints on site, a large crane will be located in the carriageway adjacent to the Eastern Ticket Hall site in order to lift structural steel into site. Access to Charterhouse Square will be via Aldersgate and Carthusian Street whilst the closure is in place. Local access will be maintained at all times and diversions will be in place.

Charterhouse Street closed at East Poultry Avenue A large crane will be situated by the Butcher’s Ramp worksite (located opposite East Poultry Avenue) necessitating a closure of Charterhouse Street to through traffic. The crane will be used to lift structural steel into the worksite. Access will be maintained at all times and local diversions in place. 3 - 5 June
