October 2015

Changes in the Thameslink ticket hall and access to and from Platform 4 northbound In order to connect the Crossrail and Thameslink stations, it will be necessary to establish segregated worksites in the Ticket hall and on Platform 4 northbound. Hoarding will be erected around these areas which will result in a reduction in ticket gates, a narrower platform width and the removal of a set of stairs. We thank you for your patience and ask that you allow extra time when using the station, especially during busy periods. 28 October: there will be a reduction of ticket gates in operation . 31 October and 1 November: Full closure of the ticket hall whilst hoardings are installed over the weekend. 2 November: hoardings installed in the ticket hall and on Platform 4. Customers will be able to follow directional signage to and from Platform 4 using alternative stairs. Step-free access will not be affected. Reduced ticket gate in the ticket hall
