Easter Musical: Lesson 6 – April 27/28 Group Time Guide: Pre-K 1

Group Time Guide Supplies Needed: Instruments, worship CD, CD player.

1. Introductions and Snack Circle Up: Have everyone put their hands in the middle, on three yell “Kid-O-Deo!” and sit down. Encourage each Kid-O to say their name. Do This: Give kids hand sanitizer, then hand each of them a snack.

2. Discussion Questions • What’s something fun you did this week? • What mission did Jesus give His disciples in the Bible Adventure? (To tell everyone how much He loves them.) Repeatable Phrases: “I can tell others about Jesus.” “Jesus loves everyone.”

3. Hands-On Option Do This: Give each Kid-O an instrument and play along with one or two of the songs on your worship CD! The Point: All of us have different instruments, they all make different sounds. Like that, there are so many different ways we can tell people about Jesus. We could tell Jesus’ story to our neighbor. We could invite our friends to come to church with us. God wants everyone to know how much He loves them!

4. Big Idea, Memory Verse, Stickers, and Prayer Do This: Practice the Big Idea and Memory Verse with the kids, as time allows. You could use different voices, or simply have them repeat after you. You could even have a Kid-O lead the verse, if you think they’re ready. Give each kid a sticker. Encourage them to talk about what they learned with their grown-ups. Do This: Pray! “Dear God, we love you. Thank you for loving us. Help us to share Jesus’ story. Amen.
