Easter Sunday = Resurrection Sunday. For many, this is simply Easter Sunday—the one day each year they get dressed up and go to church. Today, we pray you’ll experience the true meaning of Easter: the resurrection. Jesus did more than die for our sins, He rose again! And that’s what we celebrate today and every Sunday at Asbury. This may be your first visit here, but don’t let it be your last. Join us every week as we worship together, learn together, and experience God’s love together. Let this Easter Sunday be the start of something great for you and your family!

Refugee Weekend April 20-23 We are excited to be launching a new global focus area to those

displaced by the Syrian war. We are partnering long-term with the Kinship Network, a group of churches in North America and fellow believers in Lebanon and Syria, who are working in the context of this crisis. The Kinship Network brings the Gospel to people while distributing food and clothing to those in need, providing education to Syrian children, leading Bible studies, and providing summer camps for children. However, the scale of this crisis is so massive, we are also compelled to help meet the basic humanitarian needs such as housing, food and water to millions of people in need. We have invited World Vision, who has the capacity to operate with excellence on a huge scale, here for the weekend. World Vision vice president Steve Haas will be sharing in all services. He is a compelling speaker and will provide a glimpse into this Syrian crisis. We will also be hosting the World Vision Experience Truck, a must-see, moving experience which takes you into some of the world’s hardest places to see God at work and inspire us to take meaningful action. Learn more below and at asburytulsa.org.
