Alleluia! We praise you, O God, for the power of your saving love revealed in the resurrection of our Lord. As you have raised Jesus from the dead, give to us the gift of everlasting life that we may worship you forever; through Christ, our risen Savior. Living God, by your Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see the new light of this day; open our lips to tell of the empty tomb; open our hearts to believe the good news; through Jesus Christ our Lord. The next UA Brown Bag Concer t is tomorrow in the Wesley Chapel at 12:00 noon. The concert features double reeds – bassoon and oboe. No charge. The first twenty people will receive a free brown bag lunch after concert.

We are receiving applications for a full-time Associate Director of Student Ministries to join our team. This position will have emphasis on working with middle and junior high ministry and young women. A bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of three years of experience working with students in a ministry capacity is required. The application deadline is May 25, 2014. The position will start in summer 2014. Graduating high school seniors and their families are invited to a special evening at Central. On Wednesday, April 30th, from 6-8 p.m., in Central’s Activities Center, there will be some good fellowship, a nice meal, and a special time to honor each graduating senior. The Truth Seekers Sunday school class will begin a new study, The Four New Testament “postcards”—Philemon, 2 John, 3 John, and Jude by Charles R. Swindoll, on May 4th, for 6 -7 weeks. The class meets from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. each Sunday in Wesley 307. The cost of the study guide is $5.50.
