Reflection and Prayer Circle: Since Jesus wants us to go and tell everyone the BIG NEWS, have the children think about who they could share the Big News with. Remind them of Grandparents, cousins, and friends.

Prayer “Dear God, Thank You that Jesus is alive! Please help us tell the big news to as many people as we can. Help us grow in our faith so everyone can see the Big news that Jesus is alive. We are so thankful that Jesus is alive because that’s what makes Easter so special. We love You, God! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Easter Crafts Jelly Bean Prayer What you Need: template of Jelly Bean Prayer, Crayons, This is a simple coloring craft for the children to remember all that Jesus and God has done for us. (https://2.bp.blogspot.com/he2za8sfzzQ/T2pDw2JTmDI/AAAAAAAAEjc/ZRYkvtyjc4A/s16 00/Jelly+Bean+Prayer+Coloring+Page.jpg) Stained Glass Cross What you Need: Painters tape, white construction paper, crayons, markers or colored pencils.

What you Do: Before students arrive make a cross using painters tape on white construction paper for each child. When the children are seated have them completely color the page with any color they choose. When they are finished gently peel off the tape to reveal a white cross. Having a sample ahead of time will allow the children to

see the cross made under the tape. With the younger classes use half a sheet of construction paper and a smaller cross for the children to color. Below is a sample using chalk paint. http://www.housingaforest.com/easy-cross-craft-for-kids/
