Summary: Loan Processor is responsible for complying with our funders reporting requirements and commitments. Protecting the portfolio’s collateral, accurately manages the data in Down Home Loan manager and the SBA MPERS system. Assist Business Developer’s with preparation of loan documents as well as assisting with closing documents. Audits approved loans according to department’s policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Originate, build, check and process compliant loan files • Monitoring the flow of client files through the leading department • Audits approved loan file for closing • Prepares loan closing documents in accordance with approved terms and conditions • Assist Relationship Managers with preparing loan documents • Coordinate the scheduling of closing with clients and Relationship Managers • May assist with loan closing • Enters SBA loans into MPERS • Enters Loans into DownHome Loan Manager • Ensures that ECDI’s lien on collateral pledged for commercial loans is perfected • Accurately maintains various loan information databases and reporting systems to assure the integrity of reports to internal and external audiences • Assists with post-closing services actions when required • Submit all lending reports accurately and on a timely basis • Follow up with clients regarding insurance and other servicing actions • Verify all lending checks that have been written to vendor after loan has closed • Prepares minutes and for Loan Review Committee • Other duties include relief at front desk COMPENTENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: • Program Knowledge – Understands the organization’s program services, policies, and procedures. • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations • Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others. • Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; listens to others; remains open to others' ideas and tries new things. • Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. • Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information. • Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values; benefits organization through outside activities. - Exhibits objectivity and

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. o Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Comprehensive knowledge of standard commercial lending practices, procedures, and techniques. Ability to read and understand policies and procedures as we as basic legal documentation. Takes initiative and has the ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and workload priorities. Familiarity with managing databases is preferred but not required. Ability to navigate the World Wide Web. o Education and/or Experience – Associates Degree preferred and at least two (2) years working experience in a legal field, computer and communication skills, ability to multi-task, exceptional organization skills, detail oriented, and must understand the importance of legal documentation and the care needed to ensure accuracy o Skills - Experience with and knowledge of computer operation; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) o Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid Ohio driver's license required within 60 days of hire o Other – Must pass background check; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. • Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
