• Paintings & Drawings, Photography and Collage – Any art created on paper, as well as photographs should be mounted on black matting board. Gallery-wrap canvas accepted (no visible staples on the sides). Artwork does NOT need to be framed. • 3-Dimensional Art – Must be submitted completed and ready for installation (we will not construct any art submissions for jurying or exhibit.) • Digital Art – Must be submitted on CD or DVD as well as print on black matting board no larger than 16" x 20". • All art should be completed and ready to display. Finished (including frame or matting board) size for wall-hung art must be no larger than 16" x 20". 3-Diminsional art should be no larger in than 16” long by 16” wide by 20” tall. • Digital art files on CD or dvd must be named with the student’s first initial and last name, and title of the art. (example: jsmith_BeautifulArt.psd) • Framing requirements – If you choose to frame your art, please follow these requirements: – No sawtooth hangers. – Screw eyes 3” from the top of the the frame. – Use picture wire. The top of the wire should extend no more than 2" from the top of the frame. – Maximum frame size: 16" x 20". • Released must be signed with art drop-off. Submission to the art exhibition constitutes permission for use of all art for general publicity. • Artwork will not be sold at any of the galleries during the exhibition.

Release form It is hereby understood that I, (print name) _______________________________________________________ am completely and solely responsible for the artwork I have entered in the Southwest Gwinnett Student Juried Art Exhibition. It is further agreed that this art will be exhibited on loan from the time of submission until it is picked up. I understand that I must pick-up non-prize winning art by January 10, 2014 and winning art must be picked-up by February 15, 2014. Any artwork not picked up by the deadline becomes the property of the Sourthwest Gwinnett Juried Art Exhibition and may be sold and money collected will be used for future art exhibitions. Every attempt will be made to protect and preserve artwork submitted for exhibition. It is agreed that Kudzu Art Zone, Objet d’Art Gallery & Studios, Southwest Gwinnett Chamber, and any gallery which exhibits the artwork, all employees and volunteers are relieved of any and all liability for damage, mutilation, or loss of any artwork for any reason whatsoever. Submission to the art exhibition constitutes permission for use of art for any general publicity. Your loan is greatly appreciated and we thank you for entering the exhibition and helping to enrich the community’s appreciation and understanding of the Arts.
