Impaired Vision Hinders Well-Being

-- Proverbs 29:18

While meeting basic needs is often a challenge for homeless men, women and children, impaired vision can hinder their ability to access food, clothing, shelter and other services, including finding and maintaining employment. As part of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas’ One Church Homeless Ministry, the Episcopal Homeless Initiative is serving those in our 57-county community by collecting and distributing new and gently used reading glasses, as well as providing the most basic of needs. Learn more about our mission to stabilize the lives of the poor and homeless through intensive case management at www.slehc.org.
