Message Update from Pamela Smith: Lots of exciting things to come… We are currently accepting teams for the 2017 Chamber Golf Classic. We also have two raffle prizes. First is our “all about golf” package, second is a “fall tailgate party” package. We are accepting donations now! We also have a Business After Hours Ribbon Cutting coming up on Wednesday, July 26th from 5:00 to 6:30 at S&H Blinds to celebrate their 70 years of family operation. So, please put this on your calendar and plan on attending this event to help celebrate with the folks at S&H Blinds. You will be receiving the information on the chamber’s 2017 Business to Business Expo soon. This event will be held Tuesday, September 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 at Lyman Harbor. There will be interactive food stations and a cash bar available. This is a wonderful way to display items from your business and have that face-to-face opportunity to bring in new customers. On Monday, September 18th the chamber will host a Lunch & Learn Seminar: “Ignite” with well-known motivational speaker, Bruce Borgoski at Castaway Bay from 11:30 to 1:30. This excellent seminar focuses on motivation in the work place as well as in your personal life! Cost is $35 per person and includes a buffet style soup, sandwich, salad and dessert bar. Please RSVP in advance. We have office space within our building available for rent ranging from $375 to $475 per month. Rent includes all utilities, parking, signage and use of our conference room.
