Thank you to all my supporters and advertisers over that time. Its been a pleasure to bring you this great publication every month over that time.

The Creative Communities Scheme is a partnership between the Council and Creative New Zealand to promote local arts. Round one of the 2016/17 Creative Communities Scheme closes at 12 noon on Friday 21 October 2016. For those applicants that wish to speak to their application, the assessment meeting will be held on the afternoon of Friday 11 November 2016. The Creative Communities Scheme brochure is available in several languages online from the Whanganui District Council website so you can easily find out more about what the scheme funds. http://www.whanganui.govt.nz/our-district/fundingopportunities/Pages/default.aspx On this page there are links to the brochure in 11 languages, the application form and a guide to use when making an application. I will be running workshops on the Creative Communities Scheme in early October – details will be published in Awa and the Council’s Community Link page.
