Debbie’s Place* Wanganui Creative Communities Scheme

Funding is available for local community based arts activities from the Creative Communities Scheme (CCS). The scheme aims to increase participation in the arts at a local level and increase the range and diversity of arts available to communities. The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon, Friday, 30 May 2014. There will be a Creative Communities Scheme Workshop on Thursday, 1 May 2014, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the Gonville Cafe Library. All welcome.   For further information contact Debbie Kapohe, phone (06) 349 0001, or email [email protected].  You may download the application form from the Wanganui District Council website or obtain a form from the library. 

Whanganui Music wanted I am calling for Whanganui musicians and bands to submit three tracks by emailing their MP3s to [email protected]. A soundtrack will be compiled for playback over the Council phone system to provide exposure for local musicians.
